Every Friday I will showcase one (or more) organizational products that I like, products that I use in my own home or have purchased for clients. Visit back each Friday for Friday’s Product Pick.
When I moved from California to Idaho just over four years ago I found things to be different in many ways. One of which was at the grocery store. On my first visit at the checkout line, I did not hear that question: ‘plastic or paper?’. I had always been a paper girl, but here I did not get that option. It was plastic all the way.
Now if you haven’t figured it out yet, you will soon, if you read enough of my posts. I shop at Target... a lot! So between all the plastic grocery store bags, and all of the plastic Target bags, I was inundated with plastic bags! Knowing that they are bad for the environment I didn’t know what to do with them, much less how to contain them! The grocery store bags I didn’t have much use for, but I found that I did like/need to keep the Target bags…they always came in useful for many things.
Luckily, I found that my daughter’s school collected and recycled plastic bags, so off to school the grocery bags went. As for my Target bags…this is where they go:
I love this container! It is made specifically for plastic bags. It fits nicely on my pantry shelf (although it does also come in a cabinet door mounting version), it holds a ton of bags and all I have to do is stuff them in there!
I have seen this container at Bed, Bath and Beyond, so if you are on their mailing list you should have a bunch of their coupons in your coupon holder :-). Did you now they accept expired and multiple (up to 5) coupons? Yep, important to know!
If you want another option, the Container Store carries it. You can find it online here.
